I spent some time detailing this baby only have it rain on me today and she still looks good. I posted this Toyota Tacoma for sale on Ebay last Thursday. Over 500 views and a dozen watchers on an auction that lasted less than 3 days. For a Buy It Now of only $18,500, I knew it would sell quick and sure enough, after a phone call and few texts it was done.

As the title states, the sale is currently pending. I have received the deposit and the Buyer is set to come down next weekend for pick up. But it’s not gone yet ladies and gents. I know a few of you are still interested and I have 3 other watchers from the Ebay classified still inquiring about it. If for some reason, it falls through, which I highly doubt… I will repost. Or just keep it another year 🙂

Price: $18,500

2005 Toyota Tacoma SR5 For Sale - $23,995

I have decided to sell the baddest 2005 Toyota Tacoma you’ll ever come across in the midwest for only $18,500. This truck has been babied since the day I bought it. It’s only been off-road once just to test the components and take pictures. Believe me, it performs as well as it looks. Bought in June 2008 with a little over 28,000 miles, I’ve put less than 30,000 miles on it since I’ve had it. I use this Tacoma as my daily driver to and from work 5 days a week with the occasional road trip here and there. On the highway, it’s straight as an arrow and rides smooth for how it’s set up. All of the components for the 3″ suspension lift were chosen by me and installed by Safari Off Road in Nixa, MO, no expense was spared. I could literally go on for days telling you everything there is to know about this beast, but trust me, this setup is about as good as it gets. Most people might say that you will never get back what you put in. Well, this holds true at this price. With the time and money I’ve invested, some lucky person is going to own this head turner for much less than it cost me to build.

Below are the specs of this truck and the prices I paid for each component that comes with it minus additional tax, shipping, labor, and installation charges or any other costs. You’ll pay way more to duplicate this, I guarantee it. Make sure to browse the rest of the site for pictures (top right of this page), Autocheck Vehicle History Report, and Kelly Blue Book Values.

I have receipts for most of the big ticket items, including labor costs. I’d be more than happy to show them if needed. I also encourage you to come see it in person sometime if you have a chance, the truck is located in Branson, MO. This truck is firm and is priced to sell. Serious inquiries please, by no means am I in a hurry to sell it. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with the truck, it’s in immaculate condition with all maintenance up-to-date. I am a very detailed person and take pride in my vehicles. I’m simply downgrading.

I am a private seller, not a dealer. If the listing is still up, then it’s still available.

You’ve seen the outside, but I’ve had numerous questions asked about the inside of my Toyota Tacoma. Well I have nothing to hide, it’s basically stock aside from a set of Weathertech floorliners (why mess with a good thing, right?). I have the stock ones as well, but heck, consider it another bonus… this deal just keeps getting better!

With the drought we’ve had here in Branson, it was my opportunity to completely detail this truck. The result – I’ve captured the pics some of you have been asking about.  If you haven’t checked out the pictures already, you can easily navigate to the interior and exterior shots of this beauty by clicking on the appropriate links on the top right of the page. I’d say pictures don’t do it justice, but in this case, it’s a pretty good representation. I invite you to come down and take a look, I live within Branson city limits so it actually makes for a good weekend getaway if nothing else.

I sound like a salesman with that, “Special offer for a limited time only!” talk, but sure enough it really is for a limited time only. You’ve seen the list of mod’s, but something I didn’t include is the Bestop Supertop camper shell. It’s used but practically brand new since I’ve only used it a handful of times for road trips when our dog had to be in the bed of the pickup for more than a couple of hours.

The canvas was stained when I had the brilliant idea to spray it down with a silicone protectant from day one. It protects it alright, but it also left white marks on the canvas. I’m sure it’ll eventually come off as it already has from normal trips to the car wash. The worse part is the part closest to the cab where washing it never hit. You should be able to see it in the pictures here: [Pic #1] [Pic #2]

I recently pulled it out to take pictures. Something like this definitely comes in handy if your into the outdoors and need that extra room to keep your belongings dry. Most people who’ve seen this truck with it on never even knew something like it existed. It makes it look like a safari vehicle or from what I’ve heard, something from the military. Whatever it looks like, it’s practical for the days you need it and folds away for those days that you don’t.

So here’s the deal. This top retails for $700.00, just Google “Bestop Supertop Tacoma” and see for yourself. I’ve already had offers for it, but for now I’m going to hold onto it. If my truck sells soon, and I mean soon, I’m willing to throw this in with the purchase price. Otherwise it’s going up for sale on Craigslist and this post will be deleted. Bonus!

For a limited time only, this top will come with the truck if purchased before March 1st.

Keep your gear dry and look good doing it.

Clean 2005 Toyota Tacoma Autocheck (Carfax) Report

Realistically, these are the bottom line values for this truck. When selecting specific options, I only chose the bare minimum without additional add-ons. I even added a couple thousand miles extra for mileage just to be fair.
